2. What if I didn't keep any records last year? Where do I start with creating a budget and filling out all these documents?
A. If you have your program's tax statements from last year, those would be a good place to start. If you have any receipts for food, gas, etc. from the past few months or even the past few weeks, these will be a good guide. If you don't have any of this, you will have to make your best guess as to how much each line item will be.
